I pulled into a lay-by as my dog was becoming distressed in the car. I didn't notice the small accumulation of rubble next to the grassy knoll and had a coming together with the rubble and ended up with a dent in the front spoiler of my car.
After a recommendation from friends, I looked up Up To Scratch. I filled in the form and added photos on the website and had an estimate the following morning. I then booked the car in. Very straightforward process.
The actual repair is amazing. There is no evidence that the car was ever damaged; if I didn't know better, I'd say the front end had been replaced.
Probably not the cheapest body shop but the quality of the repair is unquestionable.

After being hit by someone who, it's fair to say doesn't excel with parallel parking, I was left with paint stripped off and deep scratch marks on the rear of my car. Up to scratch were perfect, absolute amazing guys. Their site is super easy to find, I had a quote and booked in same day from pictures sent via e-mail, dropped the car off and had a courtesy car for as long as I needed it for, even extra as I needed it after they finished my car.
The colour match on a very difficult colour is absolutely perfect. You would never ever tell it was painted, the metallic flake, the colour, shade and light is all perfect.

I took my car down to have a large scratch and small dent repaired, the car is quite new and it’s a fairly unique colour (Green) and I was really keen to get the work done to a high standard.
I’d had quotes from some other places (including a large chain type company) and none of them had filled me with confidence, giving me lots of excuses up front about it not being guaranteed to look perfect etc.
Will was fantastic and totally reassured me, I felt safe leaving my car in their hands and confident that they would do a good job!
The end result was amazing I couldn’t tell there was ever any damage.
We had one small issue with getting the colour to match perfectly, to be honest I expected this as it’s quite a unique shade of green with a lot of gold in it.
Will was great when I reached out to say I’d noticed it wasn’t a perfect match, they could totally have charged me for a respray but resolved the issue completely free of charge for me.
The painter, Matt, was also really great. Coming to chat to me when I came back down to show them the issue. He’d already sourced some slightly different paints from another manufacturer for me to compare and find the best match.
Overall I can’t recommend the guys at Up to Scratch enough. If you care about your car and you want any body/paint work doing… this is your place.
